Marcus Chee is an experienced Patent Manager at NBS, who oversees the patent, industrial design, and plant variety protection department. With an academic background that includes both an LL.M and a PhD, Marcus integrates legal expertise with advanced research insights to provide strategic IP management solutions. He is passionate about fostering the commercialization of innovations by bridging the gap between research and industry through effective IP strategies. In addition to managing a diverse portfolio of IPs, Marcus is dedicated to promoting public awareness and understanding of IP through educational initiatives. This includes delivering presentations at conferences, talks, and exhibitions, where they share their knowledge on IP’s role in innovation and commercialization.

Furthermore, Marcus has participated in numerous training courses and collaborative programs with leading global IP organizations, including WIPO, JPO, CNIPA, EPO, EUIPO, and MyIPO.
